Design Details: Flat trapunto top stitched waistband, with flat pleats along front, elastic triple stitched waistband around back, deep pockets. Designed with generous yards of fabric that flow over hips into a large triangle at ankle - this is a VERY FLATTERING style, as it makes our waist & hips looks SMALLER! Looks like a skirt until you start DAncin!
I made my first palazzo (& harems!) pants when I was a teenager and they have been a staple in my wardrobe ever since. I get so many compliments on them, and they are comfy cozy, with a lovely bell shape. If you carry any weight around waist or hips this design disguises it by the large bell shape at the floor level.
